The very next show after learning my new settings for my Sony camera was a big one. Shawn Mendes at the AT&T Center. Not big for me, personally, but a big name show for a lot of people. And the biggest show I’ve shot with the new settings. This would be the show that made or broke the settings I was now using.

As you can see…things worked out pretty well. I’m pretty happy with these shots. The clarity, color, and dynamic range is so much better. I have a lot more control over what I can do with the photos after the fact in Photoshop. I’m not stuck with whatever picture profile might be on the camera.

They don’t look amazing on the camera, they look really flat, but there’s a lot of data in there to bring them to life.
