This was the first performance I caught with Sony’s SLOG3. It happened accidentally. Somehow, between Randy Roger/Wade Bowen, and the Gary Allan sets, I must have knocked my camera into the SLOG3 setting. I didn’t notice it at first, but when I saw the photos on the screen looking really flat, I panicked.

I took some with my previous setting, but something told me to keep going with the SLOG3 setting. I’m so glad I did! So much more dynamic range, color, clarity…this is the set of photos that really began to look good!
