In 2016, the Sick Puppies released their first album with their new singer Bryan Scott, and they came to visit the radio station and play for some listeners. It was a really fun and cool day.

Everyone was really nice, and they played four songs for us, and they sound great! They returned a few months later for a full-on show at the Intersection with Skillet, so this was a cool taster for what was coming later.

Some behind the scenes notes…the band and their tour manager helped set up the instruments and get sounds, and the manager let me know that Emma sings very quietly, so I’d have to do some boosting for her. Not a problem. They played great, sounded fantastic, and hung out with everyone, answering questions and talking about whatever.

Really nice, down-to-earth people, and I really hope things keep getting bigger and better for them!
